Harvest Fest

We spent Sunday morning at Harvest Fest at the State Fair Park grounds...not exactly what we were expecting, but the kids had a great time on a beautiful fall day.

Saturday with the Cousins

Kimberly and Riley spent the morning with us.  We had good weather so we spent some time outside playing nicely together...you know...hitting and crashing!

The Overwhelming Tomatoes

I planted a dozen tomato plants.  That's a lot.  The kids don't eat tomatoes, but at least they help me pick them.  By the end of of the season I expect to have about 20 quarts of frozen tomatoes.  Yum!  Here's Emmalyn drumming on the honeydew melons to amuse herself!

Up North

We joined Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Coco, Kimberly and Riley Up North to celebrate the Annual Cheese and Sausage Festival in New London.  The day we arrived Emmalyn caught her first fish!

 We told her she could kiss him...she was not amused.

 Here we are the next day at the Cheese and Sausage Festival.  All of the kids entered a tractor pull contest.  Brandon won 3rd prize in his age group and Kimberly won 2nd prize in her age group.  Both of them won glow in the dark necklaces.

 Brandon had a Spiderman balloon hat and Emmalyn had a butterfly balloon hat.

I can't believe they are still posing with our fruit and vegetables!  They did give up on lining up all the tomatoes and other fruit and vegetables though.

Brandon's 1st Day of School!

Brandon is now in 4K and he loves it!  Here he is waiting for the school bus on his first day of school!
